Chris Fink, 79, former West Branch resident who lived at Lyle, Minn., died June 29 in an Albert Lea hospital after an extended illness.

Funeral service were held July 2 in Albert Lea. Graveside services were held at the West Branch cemetery July 3 with the Rev. William Thalacker of Bethany Lutheran Church in West Branch officiating.

Mr. Fink was born in Denmark in 1884 and came to this country as a child. He lived near West Branch until he moved to Minnesota about 40 years ago.

He never married. He was a member of the Lutheran faith.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews in the West Branch area.
