Funeral services for Glen L. Kelly, 66, were held June 10 at the Chapman funeral home with the Rev. E. G. Steinman in charge. Burial was in the Clarence cemetery.

Pallbearers were Chester Rouse, William Kirchner, John Burmeister, Mearl Bixler, Willard Russell, Ernest Juehring. Mrs. Robert Joslin was the organist.

Mr. Kelly died June 8 at Mercy hospital, Cedar Rapids, following an extended illness. He had farmed near Clarence 28 years and operated a business in Clarence for 12 years.

The son of Katie and Albert Kelly, he was born near Clinton December 10, 1896. He was married to Elizabeth Spear November 20, 1916. He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. R. G. (Alice) Weatherwax, Clarence, and Mrs. William (Donna) Hart, East Moline, Ill.; two brothers, Robert and Lester of Clarence; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Mr. Kelly was educated in the Clarence community, where he was a member of the Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge No. 401, the Clarence Commercial Club, and was a retired volunteer fireman. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Tipton.
