Funeral services for Frank Ferguson, 76, were held May 29 at the Presbyterian church in Mechanicsville with the Rev. George Gallaher officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Mr. Ferguson was born March 10, 1887 southwest of Mechanicsville and died May 26 at St. Luke's hospital in Cedar Rapids following a brief illness.

He was married to Lillie Baker in 1912. She died in 1940.

Mr. Ferguson was postmaster at Mechanicsville for 20 years, retiring 6 years ago. He was a member of Patmos Lodge, A.F. and A. M. The Modern Woodmen and the Presbyterian church.

He is survived by 4 brothers, Howard, Jackson, Miss. and Ross, Everett and Morris of Mechanicsville.
