Funeral services for Mrs. O. J. Myers, 60, will be held at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) with the Rev. Raymon Ferguson in charge. Burial will be in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Mrs. Irma Crawford will be organist.

Mrs. Myers died early June 3 at her home in Tipton after an illness of several months.

Inez Geneva, the daughter of Harry and Lydia Agnes Stayner Sherwood, was born in Tipton Oct. 9, 1902. She was married to O. J. Myers at Monticello, Mo., Dec. 9, 1942.

A resident of Cedar county most of her life, Mrs. Myers was a teacher in the Springdale and rural schools of Cedar county for 30 years.

Mrs. Myers was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Helping Hand Rebekah lodge, Tipton Business and Professional Women, the American Legion auxiliary, King's Daughters and the Mt. Zion Guild. She was a woman of many interests, including coloring of photographs, sewing, and writing prose and poetry.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Arthur Hain, Tipton; 2 daughters, Mrs. George (Gloria) Whitford, Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. E. R. (Dorothy) McCafferty, Naches, Wash.; 2 sisters, Eva Sherwood, Zenith, Wash., and Mrs. G. E. (Helen) Frederick, Tipton; 2 stepsons, O. J. Myers Jr., Denver, Colo., and Charles A. Myers, Salina, Kans., and 8 grandchildren.
