Funeral services were held May 29 for Stephen Lynch, 64, in the Chapman funeral home in Clarence, with the Rev. James Elvig in charge. Burial was in the Stanwood cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ken Smith, LaVerne Guhl, L. W. Meyer, Max Coppess, Erwin Toerber and Lawrence Kroemer. Mrs. Ken Smith and Mrs. L. W. Meyer were in charge of flowers. Mrs. John Swift sang, accompanied by Mrs. Ed Speer.

Mr. Lynch died at his home in Stanwood May 26.

The son of William and Annie Mettes Lynch, he was born March 2, 1899 in Macon county, Mo. He was married to Grace Bowen June 18, 1920.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Geneva Ball, Los Vegas, Nev.; a son, William, Cedar Rapids; 7 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mrs. Eugenia Delaney and Mrs. Cathrine Orcutt, Kansas City, Mo. and 3 brothers, John, Huntington Park, Calif.; William P., Callao, Mo., and Philip, Waynesville, Mo.
