Funeral services for Mrs. G. K. Dice, 65, were held May 11 at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home with Gordon Smith of Clarence in charge. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were Paul Sindt, Leonard Dice, Charles Innes, Chancey and Calvin Moore and Leonard Port. Mrs. Irma Crawford was organist and Mrs. William Malkmus and Mrs. Dorothy Plower were in charge of flowers.

Mrs. Dice died at her home in Tipton May 9 after a long illness.

The daughter of Arthur and Anne Horn Paxson, she was born Jan. 28, 1898. She graduated from the Tipton high school and taught in the rural schools.

She was married to Dr. G. K. Dice by the Rev. A. W. Straub in the home of her parents May 10, 1922. Dr. and Mrs. Dice spent all of their married life in Tipton, with the exception of a short time in Chicago, Ill.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Dr. D. G. Dice, Bettendorf; a sister, Mrs. Grace Ross, Los Angeles, Calif.; a brother, Carl Paxson, Grinnell and 3 grandchildren.
