March 14, 1963 - The Tipton Conservative

Pauline Miller, 77, died March 10 in her home in Lowden following a stroke. Funeral services were held March 13 in Zion United Church of Christ at Lowden, following a prayer service in the family home. The Rev. Edwin Otte officiated. Burial was in Van Horne cemetery, south of Lowden.

Miss Miller was born April 10, 1885 on a farm west of Lowden, the daughter of Louis and Emma Kreinbring Miller. She attended rural schools and the church school. She moved into Lowden with her parents in 1919. She was a life-long member of Zion United Church of Christ and its Women's Guild.

Survivors are a brother, Hugo Miller, 3 sisters, Meta Richmann, Augusta Richmann and Mrs. Julius (Edna) Freese, all of Lowden.

Preceding her in death were her parents, a sister and 2 brothers.

Mrs. Lorenz Deerberg, Mrs. Wilbur Mente, Mrs. Walter Brendes and Mrs. Walter Helmold sang, accompanied by Mrs. Lane Strackbein, the organist. Pallbearers were Louis Stolte, Hugo Gehrls, Walter Ibsen, Arthur Fisher, Edward Conrad and Leo Twachmann.
