Funeral services for Mrs. John J. Williams, 75, Lowden, who died Jan. 11 in DeWitt Community hospital where she had been a patient for a week were held Monday, Jan. 14 at 1 p.m. in the Chapman Funeral home in Clarence. Burial was in Lowden cemetery.

Pallbearers were Arnold Koch, Fred Wiebel, Herman Koehne, Paul Wenndt, Richard Wenndt and William Steinke.

Elizabeth, daughter of Charles and Maria Reinking Heiner, was born Oct. 15, 1888 south of Lowden. She attended the Lowden schools, Coe college, Cedar Rapids, and a Business college at Quincy, Ill.

She was married in 1945 to John J. Williams who preceded her in death in 1953. Mrs. Williams was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Lowden and its Women's Guild and Garland Chapter O.E.S. of Wheatland.

Survivors are 4 sisters, Martha and Alma Heiner of Evanston, Ill.; Mrs. J. (Emma) Moffit, Tipton, and Mrs. J. Ross (Harriet) Perry, East Springfield, Penn. and several nieces and nephews.
