Margaret France, 85, died suddenly Tuesday night at Lake Worth, Fla., where she was spending the winter with her sister, Mrs. Rua Shapley.

Funeral services for Miss France are pending at the Dye funeral home. Her body will be returned to Tipton later this week for the funeral and burial.

She is survived by a brother, Art, Englewood, Calif., and 4 sisters, Mrs. Herman Smith, Sibley, Mrs. Catherine Nolder, Dodge City, Kans., Mrs. Ida Ebert, Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Shapley.
