Mrs. Joe Lamp, 64, former Cedar county resident, died Oct. 17 at her home on route 1, Letts, following a sudden heart attack.

She was born July 14, 1897, in Cedar county, the daughter of Levi J. and Mary Cizek Cratz.

She was married to Joe Lamp at Tipton, Dec. 25, 1918. They had lived near Letts for the past 20 years.

Survivors include her husband; 3 sons, Russell, Letts, Gale, Muscatine, and Leland, Cranston; 2 daughters, Mrs. Ralph Cockerill, Rock Island, Ill., and Mrs. Rosemary Bryant, Cedar Rapids; 3 brothers, Joseph, Davenport, Edward, Calamus, and Frank, Cedar Valley; a sister, Mrs. Charles Hamer, Hills, and 14 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Wilma and Betty Jean.
