Funeral services for Mrs. Emma L. Frink, 89, a lifelong resident of the Clarence community, were held Sept. 9 at the Chapman funeral home, with the Rev. G. H. Hubby of Cedar Rapids in charge.

Mrs. Ruby Gray was soloist, with Mrs. Robert Joslin as organist. Mrs. Harry Feddersen and Mrs. Elwood Kirkpatrick were in charge of flowers. Pallbearers were George Ibsen, Frank and Robert Decker, Harry Feddersen, Ronald and Elwood Kirkpatrick. Burial was in the Dayton Valley cemetery.

Mrs. Frink died at the home of her son, Kenneth, Sept. 7.

A native of the Clarence community, she was married to Earl C. Frink Jan. 20, 1919. She was a professional seamstress.

She was a member of the Dayton Valley Wesleyan Methodist church where she served as a Sunday school teacher. In 1960 she transferred her membership to the Cedar Rapids Wesleyan Methodist church.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth, a number of nieces and nephews, including Albert Rogers and Mrs. Wilbur Schaffer.
