Rudolph H. Strunk, 63, died Friday morning of a heart attack at his home 3 1/2 miles south of Durant.

The son of Peter and Anna Strunk, he was born July 5, 1898, at Lowden.

Mr. Strunk married Melinda Beck Dec. 21, 1920, in Muscatine, and the couple took up farming at their
present home.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Keith (Mildred) Reeves, Davenport; 4 brothers; and a sister.

Funeral services were held Sept. 11 at Durant. Burial was in the Durant cemetery.
