Funeral services for Hans H. Schnack, 73, were held May 3 at Wheatland with the Rev. Harold Koening in charge. Pallbearers were Louis Kelting, W. M. Schneider, Robert Stoeffer, Henry Esbaum, Ward Bright and Ronald Fox. Burial was in Inland cemetery at Bennett.

Mr. Schnack died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lester Fox, in Wheatland, April 30 of a heart attack. He had been in poor health for some time.

Mr. Schnack was born in Holstein, Germany, Feb. 24, 1888 and was baptized and confirmed there. He came to the United States as a young man and lived in the Bennett and Tipton communities. For the last 15 years he had made his home with his daughter.

He was married March 20, 1913 to Emma Lunow.

He is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Fox and Mrs. Arno Rohwedder, Wheatland; Mrs. Levell Steffen, Calamus and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and a sister.
