Graveside services for Forrest E. Pirie, 63, were held March 1 at Stanwood cemetery. He died suddenly at his home at about 12:45 Monday morning, Feb. 27. He was born June 22, 1897, at Stanwood, the son of William and Leah Harbaugh Pirie. He was married to Eva Chamberlain at Cedar Rapids, Feb. 22, 1922.

He is survived by his wife, 2 sons, William, Cedar Rapids and Robert, Stanwood; 2 step-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Ethel Boyle. He is predeceased by his parents and 2 brothers.
