Charles L. Hart, 84, a life resident of Wilton Junction, died at 3:15 p.m. Dec. 30. Funeral services were held Jan. 1 in Wilton Junction.

Burial was in Oakdale cemetery, Wilton Junction.

Born in Atalissa, he moved to Wilton Junction as a child. He married Elizabeth M. Nangle Sept. 21, 1911. She died June 10, 1931. Mr. Hart was employed by the Economy Lumber Co., Wilton Junction, for 30 years, later moving to Davenport where he worked at the Rock Island Arsenal.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Mary C. Hart, adult program director of the Davenport Y.W.C.A. and Mrs. Elmer G. (Margaret) Steffens, Wilton Junction, and 3 grandsons.
