Harry L. Burch, 68, former resident of West Branch, died at Veterans hospital in Iowa City Dec. 26 after an extended illness.

Mr. Burch moved to Hillsdale, Ill., from West Branch 11 years ago. He was in the farm implement business.

Born at Cordova, Ill., July 27, 1892, he was the son of Alvin and Essie Sallows Burch. He never married.

Survivors include his step-father, Fred Clemmens, of Lowden, and a stepbrother, Ray Clemmens, Atalissa.

Funeral services were conducted Dec. 21 at West Branch with the Rev. L. E. Bauman officiating. Burial was in the Peedee cemetery near Springdale.
