Funeral services for Albert W. Lang Jr., 78, were held Sept. 17 at St. Mary's Catholic church in Tipton with the Rev. Edward Collins officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery.

Mr. Lang died Sept. 15 after a paralytic stroke.

The third child of Albert and Caroline Lang, he was born May 26, 1882, at Blairstown and came to Tipton with his parents as a child. He received his education in the Tipton schools.

He lived most of his life in the Tipton community and worked in the Kettel brick and tile factory for many years. He is survived by a brother, John, and a sister, Mrs. Barbara Bell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.
