Funeral services for Ernest August Lentfer, 94, were held Tuesday at Fairmont, Nebr. Mr. Lentfer died Friday in the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest W. Lentfer, near Wilton Junction. He had been ill four months.

Mr. Lentfer was born Feb. 3, 1862, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany and came to the United States at the age of 19. He married Mary Ahrens in May, 1885 in Fairmont, Nebr. She preceded him in death March 25, 1918. Mr. Lentfer was engaged in farming near Fairmont for many years and retired 35 years ago.

Surviving are the son; two daughters, Mrs. Louis Lentfer, Herman, Minn., and Mrs. Edward Stoldorf, Davenport; one brother, Henry, Anita; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sons, two sisters and one brother.
