Funeral services for Benton L. Woolison, 90, were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Stanwood Methodist church with burial in Stanwood cemetery. Mrs. John Swift sang, accompanied by Mrs. Myron Workman.

He was born in Baileyville, Ill., Oct. 2, 1865, the son of William Davis and Minerva Shipley Woolison. He came with his parents to Iowa at an early age and has lived on the farm where he died since 1869. He married Clara Ellen Coppess at Clarence Feb. 9, 1888.

He is survived by his wife and 10 children, Mrs. Cora Miller, Vinton; Lester, Independence; George, Stanwood; Mrs. Blanche Petersen, Vinton; Clarence, Dodge Center, Minn.; Mrs. Mae Williams, Mechanicsville; Mrs. Wilma Ebinger, Willard, Ohio; William, Olin; Arthur, Mechanicsville and Truman, Stanwood.

Pallbearers were grandsons, Lester, George, Adair and Darrell Wollison, Leland Williams and Floyd Peterson.
