Funeral services for Mrs. Ray (Ruby Irene) Metz, 57, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home in Tipton. Gordon Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery west of Cedar Bluff.

Mrs. Metz died at her home south of Tipton Monday noon.

She was born at Cedar Bluff, March 15, 1897, and was married to Ray Metz, Aug. 14, 1919.

She is survived by her husband, a sister, Mrs. Roy Metz, Tipton; a brother, Frank Sailor, Rock Island; two nieces, Mrs. Dorothy Folkenroth and Mrs. Doris Pickett, both of Washington, D.C. and a grandnephew, Monte Roy Folkenroth.
