Funeral services for Mrs. Elsie Christianson Small, 62, wife of Lester Small of Bennett, were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Sheets and Dahn funeral home in Tipton.

The Rev. Alvin F. Volle, pastor of Peace Evangelical & Reformed church in Bennett, officiated at the services. Burial was in Inland cemetery.

Elsie Schneekloth was born April 16, 1894, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schneekloth, near Bennett. She died Saturday, Jan. 21, at her home in Bennett following a brief illness.

She had been confined to a wheelchair for the past 21 years and had rarely been outside her home during that time.

She was united in marriage to Lester Small Feb. 28, 1929.

Surviving are her husband and five daughters, Mrs. Elda Norton and Mrs. Verdin Ede, Davenport; Mrs. Leland Fisher, Ames; Mrs. Vernon Puls, Bennett, and Janet Small, at home; six grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Martha Petersen, Sunbury, Mrs. Viola Bartscher, Mrs. Clara Bartscher and Mrs. Della Krebs, Durant, and three brothers, Frank and Ferdinand Schneekloth, Durant, and Chris Schneekloth, Bennett.
