5 January 1956 - The Tipton Advertiser

Funeral services for Mrs. Elmer Sissel, 68, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home. The Rev. S. C. Ritchart of Cedar Rapids will be in charge. Burial is in Masonic cemetery.

Mrs. Sissel died at 3 a.m. Wednesday. She is survived by her husband; a son, Wayne, Tipton; a daughter, Mrs. Clifford Carlson, Geneseo, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. D. E. Razloff, Elwood, Pa., Mrs. E. J. Collins, Chattanooga, Tenn., and Mrs. Virgil Johnson, Nashville, Tenn.; and two brothers, George A. and Peter M. Laucamp, both of Tipton.

Funeral services for Mrs. Elmer Sissel, 68, were held Friday at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home. The Rev. S. C. Ritchart of Cedar Rapids was in charge. Burial was in Masonic cemetery.

Mrs. Sissel died Jan. 4 at her home in Tipton, after an illness of several years.

Sarah Mae Laucamp was born in Cedar county May 2, 1887 and was married to Elmer W. Sissel Jan. 1, 1918.

She is survived by her husband and two children, Mrs. Clifford Carlson, Geneseo, Ill., and Wayne, Tipton, and four grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Peter M. and George A. Laucamp, both of Tipton and three sisters, Mrs. Virgil (Esther) Johnson, Nashville, Tenn.; Mrs. E. J. (Rachel) Collins, Chattanooga, Tenn., and Mrs. D. E. (Ruth) Ratzloff, Elwood City, Penn.
