Funeral services for Mrs. Harry Truman, 79, were held Saturday at the Peterseim and Dye funeral home in Tipton, with the Rev. A. C. Long in charge. Burial was in Mt. Zion cemetery.

Mrs. Truman died at 2 a.m. Oct. 17 at University hospital in Iowa City after a short illness.

Louise Adelia Powers, daughter of William Wesley and Sarah Jane Edwards Powers, she was born at Mt. Ayr, Oct. 28, 1877. She was married March 20, 1895 to Charley Willer. They were the parents of a son, Glen, now living in York, Nebr. She married Harry Truman Feb. 2, 1926.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Glen; four brothers, Walter Powers, West Branch, Charles, Vinton; Dawson, Tipton and Roy of Centerdale; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Albaugh, Tipton; Mrs. Lillian Bush, Bristol, Conn., and Mrs. Joe LaRue, New York state.
