Clarence, Ia., Dec. 5--On Saturday, Nov. 25, at 2 o'clock in the morning, Henry Dircks passed away at his farm home north of Clarence. He has been ill for over a year. Mr. Dircks was the second son of the late Fred Dircks of Lowden. On March 8, 1898, he was united in marriage to Miss Mary Debner. This union was blessed with five children, two boys and three girls. The funeral was held on Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 1 o'clock at the St. John's church, Rev. E. Hansen officiating. Interment was made in the Clarence cemetery.
