Donald Alvin Knott, 63, former resident of Tipton, died in a Los Angeles, Calif., hospital Aug. 1, after an illness of nearly four years.

Funeral services for Knott were held at the Sheets & Dahn funeral home in Tipton Tuesday.

The son of Alice and Frank Knott, he was born Feb. 22, 1894, at Meriden. He was married to Orva Leona Allen in Tipton before moving to California 35 years ago. He has been employed as a motor winder.

He is survived by his son, William Robert, of Los Angeles; a grandson, Robert Terry, and two sisters, Golda May Knott and Ella Francis Knott of Nebraska.
