Services for Charles Siems, 65, a resident of Durant for the past three years, who died at his home Sunday morning following an extended illness, were held Wednesday in the Durant chapel.

The Rev. Alvin Volle of Bennett will officiate, and burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery, Davenport.

He was born Jan. 1, 1892, in Scott county. He was married to Ida Lamp Feb. 27, 1917, in Davenport. He was a farmer four miles northwest of Durant until he retired in 1955.

Survivors include his wife, a son, Arthur, of Wilton Junction; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Otto, Walcott, and Mrs. Victor Wulf, Durant; four grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Kistenmacher, Tipton, and Mrs. Henry Miller, Winfred, S.D.; two half brothers, Henry Lange of Wilton Junction and Herman Lange of Davenport, and a half sister, Mrs. Ben Kruse of Bettendorf.
