Mrs. Elizabeth Baker, 75, a native of Cedar county, died Saturday at the Jones nursing home in Muscatine after a long illness.

The daughter of Thomas and Anne O'Toole Fagan, she was born June 12, 1881, in Cedar county and had lived all of her life in Cedar and Muscatine county vicinity.

She was married to Wren L. Baker in April of 1910 at Tipton.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Maj. Cyril E. Baker, who is in the air force at Fairbanks, Alaska, and John Baker, Rodeo, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. John Elshoff, Muscatine; two brothers, Thomas Fagan, Long Beach, Calif., and Philip Fagan, Genoa, Italy, and ten grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Requiem High Mass was conducted Wednesday at St. Mathias church. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery.
