Funeral services for Mrs. Augusta Kettler, 85, will be held at the Lutheran church in Stanwood at 2 p.m. Thursday with burial at St. John's cemetery.

Mrs. Kettler died at the Woode nursing home in Tipton Tuesday morning.

Born Dec. 30, 1891, in Germany, she came to the United States when she was 14. She spent most of her life in the Stanwood area.

She is survived by a son, Walter, West Branch; a daughter, Mrs. C. D. Hagen, Minneapolis, Minn.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Gallmeyer, Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. H. R. Smith, Painsville, Ohio, and a brother, Charles Lerch, Centeral City.
