Clarence, Iowa, Sept. 30--Mr. Fred Peters who has been sick for several weeks died in the hospital at Cedar Rapids on Sunday evening at 10:40 Sept. 24, 1916. Deceased was 48 years, 7 months and 11 days old when he died. Besides his wife and three children, the Misses Freda and Milda and Clarence, he leaves his aged mother, Mrs. Louise Peters, Mrs. Lena Block of California and Mrs. Wm. Rutten of Clarence to mourn over his untimely departure.

Funeral took place on Wednesday, Sept. 27 in the afternoon at the St. John's church. Interment was made in the Clarence cemetery.
