Funeral services for Edward G. Park, 69, were held Feb. 11 at Mechanicsville with the Rev. George Gallaher officiating. Burial was in Rosehill cemetery.

Park was born April 28, 1887, the son of George and Addie E. Park, at the family home south of Mechanicsville. He died at a nursing home in Tipton Feb. 8, following a long illness.

He worked as a body and fender repairman in Belle Plaine for a number of years.

He is survived by a brother, Lee, Mechanicsville, and a sister, Mrs. Alex Stowe, Corpus Christi, Texas.
