Funeral services for Mrs. Alex Crock, 83, were held Thursday morning in St. Mary's Catholic church at Mechanicsville with the Rev. P. J. Casey officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Susie Dougherty, daughter of John and Julia Dougherty, was born Jan. 22, 1874, near Mechanicsville. She died at her home following a long illness.

She was married in 1916 to Alex Crock. The couple farmed near West Branch until 1945 when they retired and moved to Mechanicsville.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Clarence Maher, two grandchildren, Janet and Pamela Maher; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Buchanan, all of Mechanicsville, and a brother, Will, Albuquerque, N.M.
