Mrs. Urilla Beeler, 85, West Branch, died early Monday at a nursing home in Springdale.

Mrs. Beeler was born Aug. 17, 1874, at Greencastle, Pa., the daughter of Henry and Mary Gozzard. She was married to David Beeler Aug. 24, 1897. She was preceded in death by her husband.

She had been a resident of West Branch for 30 years, and was a member of the Methodist church.

She is survived by 2 sons, Harry, Iowa City, and John, North Liberty; one sister, Mrs. Clarence Plumb, Savanna, Ill.; 3 brothers, David and Robert in Maryland, and Harry, La Crescenta, Calif.; 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were Dec. 16 in West Branch. The Rev. L. E. Bauman was in charge. Burial was in Oasis cemetery.
