Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine Elizabeth Marker, 68, were held in Tipton Nov. 11 with the Rev. George Gallaher in charge. Burial was in Shawver cemetery near Cedar Bluff.

She died Nov. 9 at a Tipton nursing home after a long illness. She was born in Tipton Aug. 27, 1891.

She is survived by a son, Carl Clelland Marker, 3 brothers, Carl, Gilbert and Norman Frederick, all of Tipton and 2 sisters, Mrs. Mary Ellen Brumagin, Tipton and Mrs. Ida Susan Howarth, Cedar Rapids.
