Funeral services for Fred Wagner, 49, were held in Tipton Nov. 7 with the Rev. Arthur Stratemeyer in charge. Burial was in Inland cemetery near Bennett.
Wagner died Nov. 5 at his home in Atalissa, following a heart attack.
The son of Wesley and Margaret Wagner, Jacob Fredrick Wagner was born near Buchanan Feb. 1, 1910. He was married to Ruth Ruser at the Little Brown Church in the Vale June 12, 1936. He was a farmer most of his life.
He was a member of the Moose lodge in Tipton.
He is survived by his wife, 4 sisters, Mrs. Leona Thurston, Mrs. Grace Thurston, Mrs. Verna Winekauf and Mrs. Eunice Wiskus, all of Tipton; 5 brothers, Floyd, Coon Rapids; Albert, Elmer and Everett, Stanwood and Ernest, Tipton.
His parents and 4 brothers preceded him in death.
