Ed Fisher, 83, a former resident of the West Branch area, died at his home at Wykoff, Minn., July 8 after a lingering illness.

He was a brother of Mrs. Joe Gartner of Iowa City, and H. A. Fisher, of West Branch.

Also surviving are his widow, the former Edith Triggs; 4 sons, Frank, Fred, William and Robert, and a daughter Eileen. A sister, Mrs. Paul Moore, preceded him in death.

Services were held July 10.
