Funeral services for Edward F. Fisher, 82, were held April 18 at St. Mary's church in Mechanicsville with the Rev. P. J. Casey officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery.

Born in Ohio Nov. 26, 1876, Mr. Fisher died April 15 at the home of his son, Ralph, at Hiawatha. He was married to Margaret Jane Scott in 1903. The couple farmed near Mechanicsville for many years. Mrs. Fisher died in 1951.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Irene Boylan and Mrs. Arlene Davis, both of Chicago, Ill., and 4 sons, Leonard, Ventura, Calif., Ralph, Hiawatha, and George and Raymond, Mechanicsville, and 2 sisters, Mrs. Maggie Saum and Mrs. Peter Crock, both of Mechanicsville, and a brother, George, also of Mechanicsville.
