Randy Lee Scott, 3-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Roxy Scott, was found dead in his bed by his parents Thursday morning Sept. 24.

He had been in apparent good health the evening before. An autopsy performed Thursday in Cedar Rapids showed that the child had died of rapidly-developing pneumonia.

The Scotts called the fire department Thursday morning and a resuscitator was used in an attempt to revive the child.

In addition to his parents, the child is survived by a sister and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Scott and Emma Weber, all of Mechanicsville.

Services were held Saturday at the Methodist church.
