Funeral services for E. G. Anderson, 66, were held Aug. 18 with the Rev. Arthur Stratemeyer in charge. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. Pallbearers were Walter Banhagael, Fred Passmore, Ernest Werling, Dale Reeve, Alvin Christiansen and William Schneider. Mrs. Arnold Swan was organist and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Edler, Mrs. Raymond Wildasin and Mrs. Max Donohoe were in charge of flowers.

Mr. Anderson died of a heart attack at his home in Tipton Aug. 15. Enoch Godfrey Anderson was born at Valley Springs, S.D., July 9, 1893. The family later moved to Robertsdale, Ala. At 21, he became a pattern maker in a furniture factory at Chicago, Ill. He remained at the trade for 25 years.

He was married to Caroline Kendall in 1924. She died in 1934.

Sept. 8, 1941 he was married to Mary Schwitzer Fell. They lived on a farm near West Branch for 13 years. Upon retiring they built a new home in Tipton, where they have since lived. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Mary, a sister, Mrs. Etta Ebberts, Arlington Heights, Ill. and 3 brothers, Melvin and Edwin, Veterans hospital, Fort Meade, S.D. and H. R., Chicago, Ill.

He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and a brother.
