Funeral services for Johannes Wulf, 86, retired Stockton area farmer, were held Monday at Durant. Burial was in Durant cemetery.
Mr. Wulf died at 3:45 p.m. Jan. 1 in his home after a short illness.
A native of Germany, he came to the United States and directly to Durant when 16 years of age. He married Anna Schneider Feb. 15, 1899, in Davenport. The couple farmed in Scott county for 10 years and after retiring moved to Stockton. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1945. Mr. Wulf had resided in Durant three years.
Surviving are a son, Gilbert, Durant; two brothers, Albert, Durant, and Matthew of Crandon, Wis.; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
