Charles F. Magne, 63, who farmed south of Tipton for about 9 years, died April 2 at Sebastopol, Calif., where he had made his home for 10 years after leaving Cedar county.

Services were held in California April 4.

He was born in France June 30, 1895. His only survivor is his wife, the former Helen Brennan of Tipton.
