Funeral services for Mrs. Herman Peters, 45, a lifelong resident of Cedar county, were held Thursday in Tipton with the Rev. Howard Dukelow in charge. Burial was in the Masonic cemetery.

Mrs. Peters died March 24 in a Tipton nursing home after a long illness.

The former Laurabelle Foote, daughter of Edward and Rose Foote, was born near Buchanan Aug. 19, 1913, and spent her entire life in this community.

She is survived by her husband; 2 sisters, Mrs. Maude Lamp and Mrs. Luella Burroughs, and 2 brothers, Clare and Floyd Foote, all of Tipton.
