Funeral services for Delvia Jacob Leuenberger, 73, were held Wednesday with the Rev. Thomas Mickelson of Mechanicsville in charge. Burial was in the Masonic cemetery.

Mr. Leuenberger died Monday. He had been in poor health since he suffered a stroke earlier in the summer.

He was born at Solon Nov. 29, 1885, and spent his entire life in this area. He farmed in the Cedar Bluff area, worked in quarries and was most recently employed by the Superior Dairy.

He is survived by his wife, Eloise; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Eloise Griffith, Mechanicsville; a son, Donald, Cedar Rapids; 8 grandchildren; a brother, William, Mt. Pleasant, and 3 sisters, Mrs. Emma Munn, Tipton; Mrs. Mary Washburn, Washington state, and Mrs. Bertha Levan, Ontario, Calif.
