Harry M. Westfall, of South Gate, Calif., brother of Mrs. Fred Sherwood, died while on a vacation trip in British Columbia, Canada.

He was a veteran of World War I and had been a building contractor since moving to California in 1922. His father, the Rev. J. S. Westfall, was a former pastor of the Bennett Methodist church.

He is survived by his wife, 2 sons, 7 grandchildren, and 4 sisters, Mrs. Grace Winner and Mrs. Hazel DeVries, both of South Gate; Mrs. Inez Holmes, Camanche, and Mrs. Sherwood.

Funeral services were held in South Gate July 24, with burial in Inglewood Memorial park at Inglewood, Calif.
