Mrs. Volline Christiansen, 77, died Christmas morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mike Klinkhammer in Stanwood.

Services were conducted Friday in St. Paul's Lutheran church at Stanwood with the Rev. R. G. Muhl officiating. Burial was in Stanwood cemetery.

Mrs. Christiansen was born Jan. 18, 1880, in Hattsledt, Germany. She had lived in Stanwood about 11 years.

She was married to Hans Christiansen on Jan. 15, 1908 at Hanley, Canada. He preceded her in death.

Survivors besides the daughter, include one son, Hans of Clarence; two grandchildren; one brother, Hans Boysen, and one sister, Mrs. Emma Wagener, both of Germany.
