Funeral services were held Sunday at Wilton Junction for Jay Gail Crispin, 69, of Wilton Junction, who died Oct. 30 at West Liberty. The Rev. Richard McEuen, pastor of the Presbyterian church, officiated. Burial was at Oakdale cemetery in Wilton Junction.

The son of C. A. and Myrta Carl Crispin, he was born July 30, 1889, at Tipton. He had spent most of his life in the Wilton Junction community. His marriage to Ida F. Lovewell took place Oct. 6, 1915, at Muscatine.

Mr. Crispin was a plumber by trade. He was a member of the Presbyterian church at Wilton Junction and the American Legion post at Walcott.

Survivors include his wife; one brother, Gerald, Tipton; six half-brothers, Kermit and Raymond Spencer, Tipton, Donald Spencer, Moline, Ill., Lawrence Crispin, Kansas City, Mo., and Charles Crispin, Louisville, Ky.; and two half-sisters, Mrs. Philip Davis, Delmar, and Mary Crispin, Fort Dodge.

His parents and one sister preceded him in death.
