Mrs. Arlene Cleveland, 43, a life-long resident of West Branch, died Saturday night in University hospital, Iowa City. She had been ill since May.

She was born in West Branch April 18, 1915, the daughter of James T. and Helen Selby Vincent, and was married in 1935 to J. W. Cleveland.

For the past 7 years, Mrs. Cleveland had been employed at University hospital in Iowa City.

Mrs. Cleveland was a member of the First Methodist church of West Branch.

Survivors are her mother, of West Branch, a son, Jay, at home, and three brothers, William and Herbert, both of Iowa City, and Robert, of Denver, Colo. She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Methodist church in West Branch with the Rev. L. E. Bauman officiating. Burial was in the West Branch cemetery.
