Funeral services for Mrs. Christine Horstmann Riedesel, 88, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in the Wheatland cemetery.

Mrs. Riedesel died Monday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lucy Plate, in Bennett. She had been ill for many months.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Plate and Mrs. Edna Meyer, Lowden, and three sons, Arthur, Monona; Ralph, Davenport, and Harry, Springfield, Ill.; 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
