The host of friends were grieved this week by the passing of Mrs. Orin Wallick, an esteemed resident of Tipton community most of her life. She passed away Monday forenoon after a lingering illness.

Memorial services were held on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 26, at the Sheets & Dahn funeral home in Tipton, with the Rev. Raymon Ferguson, pastor of the First Presbyterian church officiating. Interment was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Maude was born in Rochester township, Cedar county, Iowa, Aug. 7th, 1890, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Horn, and has always been a resident of this community. She was married to Orin F. Wallick at Cedar Rapids, June 29, 1915.

She is survived by her husband Orin, and one son Orin Jr. of Des Moines; also three grandchildren, two brothers, Mason and Ward H. of Tipton; two sisters, Mabel Miller, of Cedar Rapids, and Gertrude Sill of Arlington, Wash.
