Memorial services for Stella Reed were held at St. Mary's church Wednesday, Aug. 3, at 9 o'clock in the morning with Rev. Edward Collins officiating. Interment was in the St. Mary's cemetery. The Rosary was recited at the Sheets & Dahn funeral home Tuesday evening.

Stella May Reed was born at Iowa City May 1, 1876, and her marriage to John Reed occurred on June 18, 1902. She passed away at the Thurston nursing home in Tipton Sunday evening, July 31, after an illness of almost two years.

Immediate survivors are two sons, Raymond, of Tipton; and Cyril, of Cambridge, Ill.; five grandchildren, and many friends who have known and loved her through the years.
