DIED.--On Tuesday morning, Oct. 29, 1889 at his home in this place, of liver trouble, W. M. Kirkpatrick, aged 72 years and 10 days.

The funeral was held at the house yesterday, Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m. services conducted by Rev. J. Y. Hoover. The interment was made in the Fairview cemetery. The deceased has long been one of our best citizens. He lived for several years on his farm west of town and afterward moved into town, having disposed of the farm but a few months before he was taken sick. A wife, two daughters and three sons mourn his loss, all of whom were present at the funeral except the youngest son, Charlie, who is in California.
